Lifestyle factors, including nutrition, play a very important role in the cause of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD). The nutritional information is divided into three main sections such as dietary patterns, individual food items, and nutritional supplements. 
The dietary patterns comprises of DASH diet, Mediterranean diet, low carbohydrate diet and low-fat diet. Individual food items in the second section comprises of: coffee and caffeine, tea, chocolate, garlic, whole grains and dietary fiber, vegetables and fruits, nuts, soy, dairy products, alcoholic drinks, and eggs.
